Cal Barbut is a small mountain hotel with room for 12 guests. The hotel is situated in the Catalan Pyrenees close to the village of Figols. Cal Barbut means ‘the house of the bearded man’ and dates back to the late 1700. Cal Barbut was completely rebuilt from 1994-2001. The rustic charm of the rural farmhouse is maintained, but now equipped with modern facilities. The ground is 120000 m² and is fully available to our guests.

Distance to Barcelona is 100 km and 16 km from Berga. Berga is the entry town into the mountains, when heading for the Túnel del Cadí. See map for details.

Situated at 1400 m of altitude, the climate is pleasant, avoiding the immense heat of the summer, but also the most severe winter climate. Cal Barbut faces south and is sheltered from the cool winds of the Pyrenees to the North. Average temperature in summer is 25 °C, and in the spring and autumn average of 15 °C.
